Player Sponsors

This season Nuneaton Town Community Club has introduced a player sponsorship scheme. We understand that parents and players find in hard to find the extra cash that they need to allow there son or daughter to play football for the club.

How did we decide on player sponsorship?
With the statement above in mind we asked the question “how can we get player to be able to play for free?” our first thought was “Great idea but the club would not be able to run with no money”. Our next thought was to get some one to give us the £40,000 that it costs to run the 21 teams and 350 players we have. This also fell short as no one is prepared to give that sort of money away even in if we were not in recession. Our last idea was to allow individual players to get there own sponsorship and this is the package that we came up with.

The Package
It’s £150 to sponsor for a year per player. For this the sponsor gets there logo and a write up about their company on the players profile page with it linked to the company website. They also receive a player’s sponsorship pack. This includes a team photo, letter of thanks from the club and the player and sponsorship certificate for the season.

We will also send the sponsor links to the team page of the player so they can keep up to date with how the player and his team are doing. We also wanted to group all of the sponsor’s together on one page so you can see who has been kind enough help the players of the club and here they all are:
