Community Parnter: Sophia Pregnancy Loss

At Saturday’s game against Leicester Nirvana, we will be joined by Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support who will be sharing with fans about the work they do and also raising vital funds for their work.

Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support (SPLS) aim to support anybody who has experienced the tragic loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, TFMR, stillbirth and neonatal death. They run a face to face support group on the first Tuesday of every month at The Ford Community Centre, Stockingford Nuneaton. They ask people to arrive from 6pm to allow time to get drinks before the group starts at 6.30pm. No children are permitted to the group, however partners, family members or support friends are more than welcome to attend. Online support in the form of a closed group can be accessed as well as 1-2-1 support.

SPLS won the Health and Wellbeing Group Award in the Nuneaton and Bedworth Volunteer Awards 2018 and 2019.
