Dan Departs
Following conversations with Russ and Darren, Dan Kembrey has sadly decided that, due to his work commitments at Birmingham City, he won’t be able to commit fully to a coaching role with us next season.
Dan played a vital role in our success last season.
We’re incredibly thankful for everything he brought to the team, both on and off the pitch.
We wish Dan all the very best in his ongoing coaching journey. He’ll always be part of the NTFC family, and the door at The Oval will always be open for him.
Dan said “This has been a really difficult decision to make and one made with a heavy heart, but unfortunately due to work I wouldn’t be able to give the role the full commitment it requires and deserves at this point and time and hopefully I can return one day.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club and am so proud of what we achieved. I’d like to wish the board, staff and players the very best for next season and beyond.
I’d especially like to thank the fans for all their support, they’re a special group who deserve all the success that I’m sure will come the club’s way!”

Unfortunately after our meeting and discussion, we had to express what commitment we would need off staff members, as we enter the new league.
I really believe, we would have had a great team in Dan, Justin and Trev to help us achieve further success.
But we understand his decision and wish him all the best and I’m sure it won’t be the last time we work together
