Nuneaton Town FC are very saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Hodges (Grandad) following a short illness.
To describe Dave as a Boro fan would be an understatement. He lived and breathed the club and was ever present home, away, and at youth games back at Liberty Way. Dave was also a well known figure in local grass roots football, and when the Boro were not playing, he'd be regularly seen at other local matches.
Dave will be remembered fondly by all at the club, for his passion, his commitment and his one-of-a-kind sense of humour (particularly when we all needed cheering up!).
Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this very difficult time.
