Dom Departs

Nuneaton Town can confirm that defender Dominic Perkins has left the club.

Dom was a key part in our MFL Division 1 title-winning side last season, making 28 appearances, scoring 2 goals and being awarded Opposition Player of the Match on one occasion.

Joint manager Russell Dodd said "Dom played a big part in our promotion season after arriving from Sporting Kalsa, but unfortunately after a meeting with the club, we agreed it was best for Dom to move on to pastures new.

After Dom expressed that he would like to play higher, we really hope he gets his chance and the management wish Dom all the best for the future. Dom is a good lad and his attitude towards training is one of the best. We want to thank him for his contribution at the club while Daz and I have been in charge".

The club would like to put on record our thanks to Dom for his contribution last season and wish him all the best with his future football endeavours.
