EESA DOES IT FOR TOWN

Nuneaton Town have added attacking midfielder Eesa Sawyers to the team after agreeing terms.

The speedy 25 year old played for Bilston Town last season, and was their top scorer with 12 goals in 41 appearances. One of those came in Bilston's 2-1 defeat to Nuneaton at the Oval last season where he caught the eye of the NTFC managers.

Eesa counts Rushall Olympic and Bedworth United amongst his former clubs, so The Oval will be familiar territory.

He also has coaching experience working with Birmingham City FC in their community projects.

Speaking about the latest new player to agree a switch, Russell Dodd added 'Really happy we managed to get Eesa to agree to join the Nuneaton Project. He is an exciting player who I have admired for a while and we tried to sign him during last season, but again he was loyal to his club, Bilston Town. Again, he will fit into what we are doing at the club and I’m sure the fans will enjoy watching him play for the club'.

Welcome to Nuneaton Town Eesa!
