Introducing Paul Holmes our latest volunteer

Nuneaton Town FC would like to welcome new volunteer Paul Holmes to the Town family. Paul has worked in the NHS for 28 years and during that time has supported patients and staff going through some challenging times. He is a qualified counsellor and educator, having also been a volunteer with CRUSE and Victim Support. Since taking partial retirement, he wants to use those skills in community settings. His main areas of interest are Mental Health support and grief and loss.

Paul’s role at the club will be to co-ordinate and build long-term partnerships with charities and local community groups. The purpose of this is to bring people together and grow relationships, enabling them to flourish within a resilient and inclusive community. Working closely with Paul our longer term aim is to get Nuneaton Town FC accredited as a ‘Compassionate Club’ by Compassionate Communities UK.
