Nuneaton Town, fresh from a 5-0 win over 2nd placed Moulton last Saturday (along with progression in the FA Vase 2-1 over Knowle), now face another 1st v 2nd clash against the team that replaced them, Aylestone Park, this Tuesday evening.

Nuneaton and Aylestone Park remain the last 2 unbeaten sides in the division, with AP winning 5 games and drawing 4, compared to Nuneaton's 8 wins and 1 draw. If Nuneaton Town were to end Aylestone's unbeaten start, they would extend the lead to 9 points at the top of the table.

Some familiar faces in the Aylestone Park side include Liam Castle, Dec Towers and Nigel Julien, all former Nuneaton Borough players. Louis Samuels is their danger man with 6 of their 19 goals. Last time out in the league Aylestone Park beat Northampton Sileby Rangers 3-1 away, whilst they also progressed in the FA Vase on Saturday, winning 3-2 at Deeping Rangers to join Nuneaton Town in the hat.

Having only missed out on promotion via the play offs last season, Aylestone Park will be looking to put pressure back on Nuneaton at the top, so support is needed!
