Town Supporting the Community

Nuneaton Town Football Club feel extremely proud and privileged to be able to support our community with various initiatives.

We have been able to increase our community activities this season thanks to having a dedicated volunteer community co-ordinator, Paul Holmes. This has enabled us to facilitate visits to games to allow groups to raise awareness and vital funds for their work in our community. A special mention should also go to our magnificent fans. Every group that has attended games has been blown away by your support and generosity.

In addition, volunteers from the Supporters’ Co-op and NTFC board members have attended a number of community events, with more planned. We are also currently finalising the details on another initiative that we hope will be of benefit to groups of all ages in our local community and we hope to be able to bring you news of this in the near future.

So far this season we have welcomed to The Oval; NHS Talking Therapies, Royal British Legion Nuneaton Standard Bearer, Nuneaton Royal Naval Association and Nuneaton & Bedworth Sea Cadets, The Heritage Centre, The Mayor’s Appeal and Nuneaton & Bedworth Guide Dogs, and Doorway.

We also have planned upcoming visits by Sophia Pregnancy Loss Support on Saturday, Nuneaton Foodbank in April (Atherstone game), Mary Ann Evans Hospice, and Take A Break Warwickshire.

The club has also supported community events at the Stockingford Academy Summer Fete, Nuneaton Carnival, Heritage Centre Summer Fayre, Stockingford Community Centre. And back in December, we supported the Eternal Lights Christmas Memorial Service event organised by Devall & Son in collaboration with the Mary Ann Evans Hospice.

If you are a local community group and would like to discuss attending a forthcoming game, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing media@nuneatontownfc.co.uk
