TOWN UP THE D-ANTE AS HESSON JOINS

Nuneaton Town have agreed terms with teenager Dante Hesson who makes the switch from Paget Rangers.

The young forward made 39 appearances for the Midland Football League Division 1's bottom side last season scoring 6 goals (2 of those against Nuneaton!), ending the season as the team's 2nd highest goalscorer.

The first of those goals had the honour of being the first ever competitive goal in the new Nuneaton Town era, as Paget Rangers took a surprise lead on the opening day last season, before Nuneaton recovered to win 6-1.

Joint manager Russell Dodd shared his thoughts on Dante's arrival - “We are really excited with this signing and really looking forward to working with Dante. We have seen him play many times and always been impressed with his ability. We think Dante has a massive future in the game and really believe he will be a great signing for Nuneaton Town. No matter how young he is, I believe he will put a stamp on his position in the squad”.

Welcome to Nuneaton Town Dante!
