JARDINE TO BLOOM AT TOWN

Kyle Jardine has agreed to join Nuneaton Town from Heather St John's.

Jardine is a prolific striker who scored 45 times in all competitions last season and was the leading goal scorer in the Midland Football League Division 1 for the past two seasons, with 37 in 44 appearances in 24/25 and 45 in 38 starts in 23/24. He will also be familiar to Town fans after scoring a brace for Heather at the Oval back in August in league.

Jardine has been on Town's radar for some time. "We tried to sign Kyle last year and fair play to him he was loyal to Heather to stay for the season. But after we won the league, we always wanted to try again to sign him" explained joint managers Darren Acton and Russell Dodd.

As Town start their first season at Step 5 in the GCE Hire Fleet United Counties Premier Division South, the management team have been looking to develop the team even further to compete at the level above. Russ added "Kyle is a very important signing for us, as we know his capabilities and what he can add to the squad. His goal record speaks for itself and it’s so important we sign the right players to fit into what we have already started to build. I think he will be a great addition to the squad and we are very pleased he agreed to sign".

Welcome to the club! Stay tuned to our social media for the first interview with Kyle.
