JOSH CROSS-ES OVER TO TOWN

Nuneaton Town are pleased to introduce Josh Crossley to their squad for the upcoming season after agreeing terms.

Josh will provide further firepower having been the Midland League Division 1's 3rd highest goal scorer with 32 goals in 34 appearances for Leicester St Andrew's, behind only Coton Green's Oliver Roome and fellow Nuneaton Town newbie Kyle Jardine.

Josh returns to the United Counties League having played there for Birstall United before they were transferred to the Midland League last season, scoring 20 in 2023-24 and 30 in the 2022-23. He also played for Ingles and St Andrew's prior to his two seasons at Birstall.

On Josh joining the club, joint manager Russell Dodd said, "Josh is another goal scorer who will have a big impact in our season this year. When we heard that there was a possibility of Josh being available, we acted quickly to get a meeting set up. Daz and I are really happy that we could finalise an agreement with Josh, and like Kyle, we believe he will be a great addition to the squad. 32 goals in 32 games speaks for itself and I’m sure without his injury he would have scored many more."

We welcome Josh to Nuneaton Town and hope that he can replicate his terrific goal scoring form that propelled the Drews to last season's play off final, as Town embark on their Step 5 campaign.
