Nuneaton Town return to The Oval on Saturday after two away games, as they take on Easington Sports for a second time this season.

Easington Sports were the first team to end Nuneaton Town's unbeaten record back in October with a surprise 3-0 win, helped by soaking conditions on the night. So Nuneaton will be looking to even things up at the weekend.

Easington sit in 17th in the table with 5 wins, 4 draws and 12 defeats, although those defeats have been closer in recent weeks than at the beginning of the season, and last time out lost 2-1 at play off chasing Lutterworth Town at the end of November. Nuneaton Town meanwhile were briefly knocked off the top of the table by March Town United last weekend but emphatically reclaimed their place with a strong performance at another play off chasing side in Moulton on Tuesday, winning 4-0.

As Nuneaton tick off the matches before January's crucial top of the table clash, they'll aim to pick up another 3 points at home.

Ahead of the game, respects will be paid to Shaun Folan, Carl Long and Martin Lashley, the 3 Nuneaton Borough fans who were tragically killed on the way home from the FA Cup match at Bournemouth in a minibus accident 25 years ago this week.
