Nuneaton Town are back on the road on Saturday as they head down the A14 to Godmanchester Rovers.
It is the third meeting between the sides this season, however it is the first visit to Bearscroft Lane for the Town, having played at Yaxley in the cup, and at The Oval in the league.
With an opportunity missed on Saturday as Nuneaton could only draw at home with Godmanchester's near neighbours Eynesbury Rovers, the title can't be guaranteed with a victory on Saturday, although would be achieved if both Atherstone Town fail to beat Leicester Nirvana at the same time. A win would rule Coventry United out of the title race after their surprise defeat at Easington Sports on Wednesday night.
Godmanchester Rovers sit in 14th with 11 wins, 7 draws and 15 defeats. Only Easington Sports have scored fewer home goals than them, and they have lost 9 of 16 home games. Their inconsistency has seen them take a point off Coventry United, lose at home 4-1 to bottom club GNG Oadby Town, just a week after beating them 4-0 away.
The two previous meetings between the sides couldn't have been much closer, as Nuneaton won out 2-1 in the cup before a Danico Johnson stoppage time equaliser prevented defeat at The Oval.
Godmanchester sits on the River Great Ouse and is quite a historical place. It's prettiest site is the Chinese Bridge that spans the river. It is named after Gudmund, an Anglo Saxon name, and despite being similarly named, bears no lingual relation to Manchester.
Nuneaton will be without Charlie Jones who starts a 3 match suspension after his red card against Coalville Town.
With Nuneaton looking to set themselves up to win the title in March - the place and the month -, 3 points will be vital on Saturday.
