Nuneaton Town continue their league campaign on Tuesday night in another top of the table clash this time away at Moulton.

Town will be reeling from a shock defeat to GNG Oadby Town in the FA Vase on Saturday and this should only add to the determination to complete a league double over the Northampton based side, having put in a great performance earlier in the season to beat them 5-0 at The Oval.

The importance of 3 points on Tuesday night was also enhanced on Saturday by March Town United's win which saw them knock Nuneaton off the top of the table, and a win for Town would restore their position.

Moulton are in good form having won 4 of the last 5, with the other a draw at home to March. They sit in 4th with 12 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats, with only one of those defeats coming at home. Nuneaton are 4 points ahead with 3 games in hand, and still have just the one away league defeat at Easington Sports.

Directions from Nuneaton town centre:

Take the A444 south to the M6, then head south on the M6. At the end of the M6 continue onto the A14, and then leave the A14 at J2, taking the A508 towards Northampton. After passing Brixworth, turn left onto High Street at Pitsford, then turn right after the Griffin Inn pub onto Moulton Road. Follow this road all the way into Moulton, and then upon reaching a roundabout in the village centre turn right onto Northampton Lane North, and then take the third right into Brunting Lane, the ground is at the end of the road.

Public transport:

Take the 17:11 train to London Euston from Nuneaton, arriving at Rugby at 17:26, then take another London Euston train from there at 17:46, arriving in Northampton at 18:08. Walk to Northampton Northgate bus station and take bus 2 to Lumbertubs pub, walk up Moulton Way, Northampton Lane South and Brunting Way to the ground (half hour walk).

On return the last train from Northampton to get to Nuneaton is the Birmingham New Street train at 22:16, arriving in Coventry at 22:52, then the Nuneaton train at 23:00 arriving at 23:22. Moulton to Northampton isnt accessible by bus in time, so a taxi will need to be taken.
