One Town, One Badge, One Club
One Town. One Badge. One Club.
Nuneaton Town Football Club and Nuneaton Borough Juniors are pleased to announce that, from the start of next season, the junior section will play under the Nuneaton Town name.
Over the past two seasons, a great deal of work has gone into building a genuine football partnership between the senior club and the junior section. The aim has always been simple; to create a clear pathway for young players in our community while strengthening football across the whole town.
By bringing the clubs together under one name and identity, we are taking an important step towards uniting players, coaches, supporters and families behind a single badge.
While the clubs will share an identity and work closely together to develop football in the town, both organisations will remain financially independent of each other, ensuring each continues to operate responsibly and sustainably.
This partnership represents more than just a name change. It is about building a shared future for football in Nuneaton, giving young players the opportunity to develop within a structure that connects grassroots football all the way through to the senior game.
Chair Ian Cook said: “Uniting the junior section and first team under one badge is a huge moment for the club. It creates a genuine pathway for our young players, allowing them to dream of representing the first team while developing within the same footballing environment. This is about building a sustainable future and strengthening the bond between players, families and supporters.”
Junior section chair Matt Jeffries added:
“This news has been a work in progress for the last two seasons and we are incredibly excited and proud to be bringing ourselves under the One Town, One Badge, One Club banner. It is the biggest decision we have had to make in our eight-year existence, but it is one we make with real positivity and excitement about the future, not just for us, but for the senior club and the community as a whole. After meeting a few weeks ago, it was clear that we all shared the same vision, and I am delighted that we can play a part in this bright future for both Nuneaton Town Football Club and Nuneaton Town Junior Football Club.”
We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to seeing the next generation proudly representing the Town.
