Thorpe leaves for pastures new

Callum scoring the last minute winner against Smethwick Rangers in the last game of the season

Midfielder Callum Thorpe who joined Town in October will not be returning to the club for the 25-26 season.

Callum made four starts and appeared eleven times from the subs bench during the season, and scored a crucial last minute winner in our last game of the season against Smethwick Rangers. He also picked up another goal in a 2-1 victory back in January, also against Smethwick, in the Midweek Floodlit Cup which saw Town reach the Final.

Russell Dodd said "I really believe Callum has a great future in the game and we wish him all the best in his next move. He is not only a talented footballer but a really nice lad, who was such a pleasure to manage”.

We wish Callum all the best with his future football endeavours and thank him for his contribution during our title-winning season.
