Vacancy: Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist
After being reformed in 2024, and recently achieving promotion to Step 5 of non-league football, the club is seeking someone to play a vital role in supporting player health and performance.
Key responsibilities will include:
Injury Prevention & Management – Assessing players for potential injury risks, providing strapping and taping, and implementing rehabilitation programs.
Pre-Match & Training Preparation – Soft tissue treatments, and ensuring players are physically ready.
Pitchside Medical Cover – Offering immediate care for injuries during matches and training, including first aid and injury stabilisation.
Rehabilitation & Recovery – Developing tailored recovery plans, monitoring progress, and liaising with medical professionals.
Communication & Reporting – Keeping coaching staff informed about player fitness, arranging medical consultations, and maintaining medical records.
Medical supply stock management - Managing the stock of tapes, and other medical supplies, informing the treasurer what needs ordering in good time.
Due to the club being reformed this is a unique opportunity to help shape and rebuild the medical department from the ground up. This is with a supportive team of people around you, along with a healthy budget for medical supplies.
The role with come with the expectation that the person selected will attend all home and away games providing support, as well as training sessions.
Ideally anyone applying would have a pitchside qualification, but for the right candidate a pitchside qualification can be supported.
The role is paid on a match by match basis, with all kit (except boots) provided.
